Winding down, or winding up? ...

Strange as it may seem ...

It is still summer, my heatwave prediction until the 11th is holding out so far

With still a month to go.until the last flight departs, amid the increasing requests regarding 'bringing cardigans and jackets' and a few 'worried about the weather next week' posts ...

Its another manic airport  Friday with 23 arrivals and 23 departures planned. (Down from a high of 24 - One gone already)  ...

Final nights ...

Last night (5th) September - was the 'last sunset trip' with the Eleni crew, the sales team are off back to Leeds. Sunsets will still remain available, probably best viewed glass in hand from 'Agia Eleni' beach or perhaps better Banana, as the sun slips southwards in the evening sky ...

Fri (7th) September - Last 'house party' of the season at Jaguar.
This probably means there are no young people left, as the ferry timetables, change next week ...

Some end of season flight bargains over the last few days with flylolo from Southampton, and a £67 return flight today from LGW. Even Kriandos is on a '£43 one way to the rock' from Manchester. He mentioned the magic words 'May have to be Parga' and the price dropped ...

As the season starts to draw to a close, details of last nights, and planned seasonal closures - I will post them here ...

Any sighting of the pink flamingo gang, are they still swaning around 'the rock' ...

PS: The last test match of the summer starts today at the Oval. Its been an fantastic summer of entertainment & drama  Hope the last test is exactly the same ...
