Sunday morning ...

Church bells are ringing ...

Clouds are building, and there are distant rumbles of thunder. Never a good sign when the power goes off.

Hopefully its just a routine cut, rather than one caused by nature ...

Its started to darken in the room, the sky is turning grey. I dont need a weather app. Its going to rain.

Its started, there is a dink dink dink, on the roof. Now its falling harder, i can hear the start of a steady stream, flowing down the street.

Its now falling as a cascade, from the old ladies roof, onto the cobbles, and becoming a torrent in the street.

A cool breeze, developing, you can even smell it, rain ...

Someone outside has a squeaky shoe, it must have a waterlogged sole or its a very large mouse outside.

Now you can hear it, thunder as the storm approaches, from Skopelos ...

A slightly later update:

Well its 08:30, and the rain has been torrential for the last twenty minutes. Its raining so hard, i can hardly hear the church bells, over the noise of the downpour ...

The harbour has turned brown, with the mud, as the storm drains, are flushed through. Papadiamanti will be nice and fresh later ...
