No change, Short change and the sales ...

The Sky Express flight yesterday, returned back to Athens, as it was unable to land at Skiathos. This was  due to the poor visibility, and inclement weather conditions. In addition the Skopelos radar is offline. It will try again later today, Fingers crossed, the pilot can see the runway, but the weather forecast is not good ...

Update: The Sky Express made it before the bad weather arrived ...

Germania/Sky Express (Code share agreement)

Sky Express and Germania are joining forces after a deal signed on Wednesday, January 11, in Athens The agreement under which the two airlines will offer code-share flights (code share agreement). With this agreement, virtually joined destinations served by Sky Express with those on the Germania, which should give special impetus to tourism destinations served by the Greek company.

Under this agreement, Germania will add new flights from May 4, 2017 from Bremen and from June 12, 2017 from Nuremberg to Athens so that passengers can travel to the Greek islands by Sky Express. The destinations which now gain direct access to and from Germany and who are served by the Greek airline are Heraklion, Santorini, Mykonos, Paros, Naxos, Milos, Syros, Skiathos, Zante, Chios, Karpathos, Kythira, Ikaria, Astipalea and Sitia. Similarly, passengers from those destinations can travel to Germany, closing their ticket to Sky Express.

The offer code share flights will start from February 2017, and is expected to expand by adding additional connections to other German airports.

The CEO of Sky Express, Ms. Niki Karagkoule - Karageorgou said: "The cooperation with Germania is part of our strategy to further develop the company and our network. The codeshare provide an opportunity for passengers from Germany, through customized packages to enjoy their holidays in our beautiful islands, greatly enhancing tourism destinations which serves the Sky Express ».
