When life gives you lemons ...

You make a 'Skiathian Lemon tart'

Especially if they are hand picked Skiathos lemons ...

It was a tough decision, do you make more Limoncelo or not? But after a little work, and forty five minutes in the oven. The aroma of those lemons, when I opened the oven door hit the senses ...


Thirty minutes later, and a still warm lemon tart - with a splash of cream ...


Judging by the 'Mmm Mmm' from SWMBO, It was going down very well indeed.

I must say, Very nice it was too ...

    1. Its a recipe by Greg Wallace of Masterchef UK. Its easy so you need to be like 'Skiathian' and have your pockets full of lemons, going through the airport on Friday ...

    1. Margaret, Its a recipe by Greg Wallace of Masterchef UK. I have added the link to the post above. A metal flan case is best IMO. Tried and tested in UK & Skiathos.
      SWMBO & Junior got stuck into it last night - Not much left ...
