Skiathian - Spentzofai ...

Well here it is - the design and execution phase ...

It was very tasty, however for me could do with a bit more spicy heat. However SWMBO is not great with the spicy foods. Like most Greek meat dishes, its even better on the second day ...


Fresh crusty bread for the juices - If there is anything left ...

    1. Next time, I will add some of the local dried spicy sausauge. Chili flakes may give it a bit of a hit. I like it with the chorizo added, but we cannot get that here ...

    2. Hmm, looks tasty. When we were on the island in June, a butcher made a sausage that looked very similar to that. It was to compete with some real German Bratwurst. The Greek sausage was barbecued very slowly & tasted delicious (but didn't look it!) If we remember, we might just slip some chorizo in our bag when we come out on 22nd October.

    3. Hi Graham. These sausages are the best type here, the butcher opposite the pet shop near the ring road, does a great version. Treat yourself to the version of chorizo from waitrose if you have one near you.
