Word on the street ...

Well the harbour actually ...

Hellenic seaways have applied to withdraw the flying cat services - Between Aghios Konstantinos/Volos and the Sporades islands. They state the routes are uneconomical due to the cost of the fuel.

They also are the lifeline for a daily return service to the mainland, for passengers on business, and attending hospital appointments, and emergency transfers.

Lets hope common sense prevails ...
