Sunday morning ...

8am: Thunderstorm to start the day ...

Quite a downpour, by 9am it had passed by heading out to sea. It was folowed by heat and humidity.

Something about the weather, or is it the phase of the moon, is bringing out the strangest reactions in people. Perhaps some should not be allowed to travel, without the written permission of matron ...

Some people I meet, I remember them from last or previous years. Funny thing is they sometimes do not remember me. They also like to give you a tale of woe.

One chap wanted to go to Aghia Pareskevi, as his wife likes it there. I said go on the bus. He replied she was incapacitated, which is the same conversation we had last year. What I find strange is that they booked accommodation again, in a different resort not suitable for his good lady wife. It's sad really ...

What's the drink drive rules mate, same as Uk?

No it's stricter, half a beer puts you over the limit.

That's a joke!

Not if they catch you ...

I know someone, who was caught. It cost them €1800 to get out of jail. Then they had to return three times for court cases - on Skopelos ...

Yesterday a new friend, and correspondent of the blog, came and said hello. Phil. Enjoying the last few days of his Monarch delayed weeks trip to Skiathos. Spending a lot of time at the dog shelter doing good things there ...

Midnight - Another thunderstorm, and its a cracker. What a way to start and end the day ...
