Nice looking cruise liner, despite the passing thunder showers ...

14:50hrs Two good cracks of thunder, and it started raining. It seems the thunderstorms are back with us this afternoon. It passed over the back of the island, sending people scurrying from the beaches all along the island. Another couple of cracks of thunder again a few moments ago her in town ...

Later update:

Huge thunder clouds behind Skopelos this evening. The thunderstorms just kissed the island and were heavily concentrated again north of us.  Sending aircraft around those no doubt.

It's last night for Phil and Sheila. Great friends who will be flying home tomorrow. I hope for Sheila's sake, Phil does not open the 'holy grail' before bed time. He is in possession of a bottle of Oak aged tsipouro. Promised at Pasca, obtained in June, delivered as promised by Skiathian ...





Otherwise, It's very quiet, most people heading to watch someone kick a pigs bladder, around a field on TV.

Expecting groans of angst tonight, not just about the recent weather. England playing football, the last 'Mythos fuelled lager waltz' towards the bus station on 'last night thursday' ...

Could be an interesting evening ahead ...

... and it was - Enjoyed a tsipouro meze with Mr & Mrs Troll, who retired early. It looks like the football was going downhill too, so home to bed - Kalo Nikta ...
