Christmas fun on the harbour ...

Its December 22nd so lets all party again ...

After yesterdays Birthday bash, no excuse needed for a nice glass of Mulled wine, or some warmed Tsipouro, with honey. Served here by a young man to passers by for just €1 a shot ...

Of course there will always be a Souvelakia stall, very good it was too ...

Balloons for the children ...

In fact this is roughly the view friends flying in this evening will see. Most of them are probably crossing Evia, at around 4500 feet at the moment, on the Athens flight path.

Each one sent on its way by a little person, with tears in their eyes, as the balloon made its way upward from their grasp ...

Juniors round Santa balloon, with friends before its flight ...
Music: A fantastic piano solo by Themis to put us in the mood ...

Themis ...
Music: A duet with Vasilis Koralis ...

Themis and Vasilis ...
Bravo to the guys for an excellent performance in the crisp sunny air. We may not have a 'White Christmas' but those of us here will have a 'Skiathos Christmas' instead. Here we have this lovely view, after dark to enjoy ...

This year minus two of the blue Christmas trees, on the old harbour. Perhaps they were chopped as an austerity measure, along with the loudpeakers for Christmas music in Papadamatis street ...
