Another one for ...

The non believers ...

Yes we do have Frost here in Skiathos this morning ...


The waning full moon cast its spell, last night aided by the clear skies ...


It did result in a nip in the air, at the Papadamatis street stalls ...


It looks like someone's wood pile may be up for rent ...


But my fish supper is nicely chilled, even after their 2 degrees 'walk' across town ...

Melanouri ...
Melanouri (Saddled bream) 
'The Melanouri (Saddled bream) is identified by its black spot at the root of the tail, it is silver and it has about 10 thin stripes from head to tail. They eat sea plants and live in clean and deep waters. They are fished by fishing lines and fishing nets. They have a very good reputation for the taste they give'

If you encounter the Melanouri, on your travels its absolutely lovely. Like a smaller Tsipoura, but with a slight pink colour, to the cooked fish and a delicate flavour ...
