Sunrise & St Jude ...

Hope you put your clocks back this morning, and enjoyed your extra hour in bed ...

Here is the sunrise from Skiathos this morning ...

Friends in Devon and Cornwall:

Batten down the hatches, its not often you see or hear 'Southwest 7 to severe gale 9, increasing vilolent storm 11, perhaps hurricane force 12 later' on the shipping forecast ...

Meanwhile as the St Jude (Patron saint of lost causes) storm prepares to ravage the UK, Here the weather is following a pattern, of cloudy starts, followed by beautiful sunshine and cloudless skies. This morning the sun was burning the skin, as we had coffee, with friends on the harbour.

Most definitely a gorgeous morning, where apart from the heat, there was not a hint of a breeze.

So later we popped out to do some panic buying in sympathy, with friends in the UK. The only problem is the shops here are closed until Tuesday due to the Oxi day holiday ...

Mediteranean news just in:  'St Jude 2' - Ash cloud alert - Mount Etna has erupted ...

Wonder which way the wind is blowing ?
Where would you rather be right now ...
