Last full moon of Summer ...

It's the last one tonight ...

In the UK it's called the harvest moon, from when farmers gathered their crops by moonlight.

Here it's rather quiet, the last few nights a heavy dew has descended in the evening. An autumnal nip in the air. One that has seen the cardigans being worn by locals, and tourists alike.

Lovely and warm by day, a fresh breeze this afternoon. Tonight it's calm, with rose coloured tints on the sunset sky, and the air is still once again. Just as the bats come out to start their nocturnal activities ...
