Good morning ...

From a very warm Skiathos ...

11am: Clear blue Skies and the very gentlelest of breezes. A mirror like sea and a heat haze looking towards Evia ...

12 Noon: Distinctly very warm indeed, looks like a scorcher.

1pm: It is a scorcher officially ...

Cannot believe that on an island of Olive trees, I cannot find a can of Olive oil for a tourist, even one who wants to buy a 15 litre can to take home on the ferry. 'Crisis what Crisis' there is liquid gold hidden in cellars all over the island ...

2pm: Rush for home, and a cool room, an ice cream and a sleep ...

17:30 Said some farewells to friends in Papadamatis Street.

18:30 Some clouds appear from over the mainland. Probably just to assist the sunset views, a little later this evening.

19:20 Pelion mountains silhouetted as a lilac background, as the sun performs its daily finale.

20:00 Farewell to my new Dutch friends, Miriam & Carolien. One day I promise to visit your country ...

20:30 Time to eat something ...
