Sunday morning ...

Start of another warm day ...

Spent a nice hour or two yesterday in Stamatis enjoying a tsipouraki lunch. Once again Angelos tried to kill me ...

Very quiet again on the harbour last night, good to see some returning tourists eager for a chat, and a catch up. Others - new arrivals with the sideways eyes (Such a weird thing to see) A nice wedding taking place at Tries Hieraches in the early evening.

Woke up very early, could not sleep so had an early walk, amongst the returning clubbing crowd this morning. I think my kindling pile, will soon need to be topped out. Its now past record levels, and the wood store is still in use. Have a gut feeling this winter is going to be a rough one.

Seems a few of you liked the historical info, I posted about 1944 ...

Its amazing stuff, but if you avoid the 'copy and pastes' on the net there are some amazing stories. I have been lucky enough to share some here. More to follow ...

Good to hear so many of you like the blog, perhaps this winter it will evolve again ...

Watch this space ...

  1. Please keep the stories coming! It is what keeps us going both summer and winter.....not long now before our long awaited trip to the island, but until then thanks again!
