Whats for lunch ...

Well as you asked, its these beauties ...

I was admiring the fish stall, from afar this morning when the fisherman called out my name. So I strolled over to exchange greetings, and these are what he thrust into my hand. OK they are selling at €3 a kilo, and I have around three kilos ...



I have just cooked around a kilo, shared another kilo with a neighbour and another one in the freezer. If anyone has any tsipouro, it could be a great afternoon ...

17:55pm: It was a tough choice, but in the end, I had mine with farfalle pasta, and the Greek chorizo sausage, in a cream sauce liberally sprinkled with parsley ...
