Express Pegasus update ...

Friday 9am

It seems the old girl is lumbering her way towards us, no doubt with some more surprises in store for passengers and crew alike. Fingers crossed the boat makes it, as it has a day off on Saturdays, next service Sunday and no shops open for supplies or deliveries until Monday.

Hellenic have also withdrawn the Pasca timetable for the flying cat from Aghios Konstantinos. The service will not now start until the 8th June. Our friends at SkopelosNews suggest they may have a strop on about the forthcoming competition from ANES lines. A service that cannot start soon enough on current form ...

Thursdays debacle originated with Pegasus bumping into the harbour at Agondas. This should have been picked up as seismic activity. One correspondent here in Skiathos said it was Skopelos harbour. That must have been quite a wallop at Agondas if they thought they were there instead.

So on departure after tests, Pegasus lost an engine. Not sure if that results in a hard over on the rudder but the images from Marine Traffic, show it deviating course (Into the wind) and then doing circuits - Presumably looking for the missing engine ...
