Ask a silly question ...

This afternoon we had a storm ...

One of the islanders said ...

'Where did that come from...think we have a storm.............'

The response from one of the islanders was as follows;

'In simple terms it was warm air meeting cold air or a low pressure system surrounded by a high pressure system. This forms a cycle of cold air rushing in pushing the warm air upwards, it is this turbulance that causes the storm.

In other words it came from that big black cloud that drifted over the Island. Hope this helps.xxxx (I need to get out more)'

As winter, drags on you can see that the islanders are becoming more thoughtful about things ...
