Thunder ...

Rolling round the hills - along with a stunning lightning display ...

But we are getting away light, Cephalonia has had storms for 12 hours. Greek TV is showing dry river beds streaming in torrents, Shame all the water is heading for the sea an being wasted. The Ionian islands have copped it big style today ...

Up at the airport its been a fun day, the first flight in, from Newcastle went technical. They have had the spanners out all afternoon, It departed four and a half hours late into darkening skies. Clearly the crew did not fancy a storm lashed night at the Palace. The delights of the pelmet skirts in Geordie land won over ...

The thunderbolts started late and it seems it may be quite a night, hope all the new arrivals read my warnings, and are splashing down Papadamatis street in their wellies and shorts, feady for a night on the town ...

If not well I tried to warn you ...
