That was a blast ...

as friends from the US would say ...

Force seven winds battered the island from lunchtime, and overnight. white water and screaming yacht rigging on the new harbour. Any unsecured shutters will have been banging away if they are not off their hinges by now ...

The air has cooled, and i woke today with a shiver, now will it return to inferno heat, or is this now the time that i now need to cover myself with a sheet at night.

Autumn is extending its fingers south towards the island, as the sunrise now makes its trajectory southwards over Skopelos in a similar direction, just a little further every day. The leaves are crisp on the trees, both from the extreme summer heat and knowing, that they have done their job for the year.

The sun is out and clear blue skies above, but still blowing a six now, so no boat trips today it would seem ...
