Tad breezy ...

Seems as if winter storm is approaching ...

For days people have been preparing, and there is not a piece of wood to be found, anywhere on the paralia. Overnight discarded pallets have been spirited away, as if by magic.

Its very breezy this morning and more than a hint of rain in the air. The temperature has dropped, and there is a distinct chill in the house. This will be remedied later.

My early morning excursion was 'fruitful' - as i recovered 6 orange boxes, for primary kindling in the mighty woodburner. Fresh bread from the bakery, and an indulgent chocolate croissant for me as reward.

However life in the port goes on. Flying cat 6 is due in, despite the weather and the huge fuel tanker EKO1 has arrived.
