Fish fingers ...

Not those in breadcrumbs - mine ...

Just spent an hour cleaning these beauties


The fisherman dropped me in 5 kilos of sarithas, they are rather like a mix between a herring and a mackerel. Best served grilled or fried they were so fresh you could smell the sea. Some were still stiff with Rigamortis.

Some are ready for tea, and others bagged and frozen for autumn suppers. With the promise of more to come in due course ...
