Back to normal ...

As if by magic the monsoon stopped at around 10.30am ...

It has been a very wet few days, slowly the clouds lifted and by the afternoon the sun was breaking through. From my vantage point on top of a pair of steps, i could see the street below - outside through the window was drying and soon sunshine. The clinking of the roof tiles above my head, indicated that the promised warmth had returned.

Painting continues indoors unabated and another room has been completed. 19 litres added to the walls and ceilings, so far. I think another six litres should see me home. The next few days offer better weather opportunities and thoughts of exterior painting to come ...

This evening the skies were clear again, and a pink hue sunset in the sky over the rooftops here in town.

Tonight a bowl of home made fasolada - or posh baked beans if you prefer minus the toast ...
