Stormy night ...

The wind was blowing early evening on the Paralia ...

Secured shutters were rattling, in the breeze. The rain started to fall around 9.30pm. Quickly the raindrops on the roof became heavier. Water started pouring off the roofs into the street, in mini waterfalls. The water flowing down the street, swiftly became a roaring torrent.

Laying in bed it was like Dante's inferno, shutters backlit by lightning, thunder that shakes, and reverberates around the houses.

This morning its now quiet, and still, clocks are re-set after the power cut that affected parts of the island. The streets are dry, Its like the storm was a dream that never happened ...

You know what they say about 'Friday Night Dreams, that are Saturday told' - They come true ...
